VEVOR diamond core drills handle a wide range of jobsite demands, from tight-space maneuvering to large-diameter coring. This article covers the key features of each flagship model, the brand's unique strengths, and real user reviews.

A handheld wet core drill built for jobsites that require small-diameter coring across multiple locations. It handles holes up to 4 inches and weighs just approximately 11.6 kg, making it easy to carry and maneuver. It is well suited for jobsites where mobility is essential, such as HVAC installation and plumbing work.

A wet/dry stand-mounted core drill built for jobsites that demand large-diameter, high-load coring.
It features the most powerful motor in the lineup at 3,500W and comes with a heavy-duty drill stand capable of supporting cores up to 11.8 inches. The combination of raw drilling force and a stable, chatter-free setup makes it well suited for infrastructure repair and large commercial building MEP work that requires large-diameter coring through thick concrete.

A wet/dry stand-mounted core drill designed for applications where versatility and safety need to go hand in hand.
It handles holes up to 8 inches and is equipped with a safety clutch and overload protection, reducing the risk of sudden kickback or damage when a bit binds or encounters heavy resistance. It is well suited for jobsites that want to tackle a broad range of work—including plumbing and HVAC installation—with greater confidence and control.
From HVAC work in tight spaces where mobility is non-negotiable, to infrastructure repair requiring large-diameter coring through thick concrete, VEVOR is a strong fit for contractors who want to take on every job with their own equipment rather than outsourcing. With a lineup that spans lightweight handheld units to a 3,500W high-output machine and a safety-equipped balanced model, VEVOR is an ideal choice for MEP and construction contractors who want to put the right coring equipment on every jobsite.

VEVOR offers a broad range of professional-grade models—from lightweight handheld units to large-diameter stand machines handling up to 11.8 inches, and wet/dry combination types.
Operators can choose the model with exactly the performance they need based on jobsite space constraints, dust regulations, and the material being drilled. This makes it straightforward to avoid the wasted cost of over-specifying equipment and the schedule setbacks that come from underpowered machines.
The majority of models in the lineup support both wet and dry drilling modes in a single unit.
Whether the challenge is indoor plumbing work where water use is restricted, or a jobsite with strict dust control requirements, operators can switch drilling methods on the fly to suit the conditions. When unexpected issues arise due to water access limitations, there is no need to scramble for a separate dedicated machine—work can proceed on schedule.
All products come with a 12-month warranty, and free returns within 30 days are available for manufacturer-approved reasons, including defects and missing components. This helps avoid unexpected additional costs from early failures or issues discovered right after delivery.
Select models also come with spare carbon brushes and a double-ended wrench included in the box as standard. Since carbon brushes are wear items essential to motor operation, having spares on hand eliminates the need to source them separately and wait for delivery—meaning brush replacements at end of service life can be handled on-site, right away.
Amazing product the core bore was a nice simple set up and put it straight to use core drilling 16 4" holes without any hiccups and bits hold up surprisingly well we put it to use right out of the box soon as we got it we put it straight to work with no issues. It's nice. I 100% 10 out of 10 product would recommend we own many better products everything from their pro press to their mega press, chainsaws and clconcrete saw fantastic products.
Picked this up to run 4"–6" holes for venting and sleeve pipe through block and cured concrete. The motor has legit torque—no bogging if you keep steady feed and let the diamonds work. The column/stand is heavier than I expected and once you anchor and level it, the carriage tracks true so the hole stays round with minimal chatter. Water hookup is simple and controls dust well; slurry cleanup is the messy part (as always), but the drilling itself is smooth. The included bits are decent starters for block and standard aggregate. For rebar or very hard mix I'd upgrade to premium segments, but this kit will get you through typical jobs right out of the box. After four cores the bearings still feel tight and the rack/pinion shows no slop.
For diamond core drills, running costs and the ease of sourcing replacement bits are just as important as the machine's performance. VEVOR sells core drills as complete kits with bits included, and genuine replacement bits are also available for individual purchase.
Two primary connection types are used across the lineup, with options including a 14-inch deep-cutting wet bit and a versatile wet/dry combination type. Bit diameters range from approximately 1 inch to 8 inches, and the accessible pricing—starting from around $20 for individual bits and from around $170 for multi-bit sets—is a standout advantage.
With the ability to clearly select the correct thread size for your machine and the right wet or dry type for your jobsite conditions, the risk of getting stuck without a suitable consumable is kept to a minimum.

3 Diamond Core Drills, Matched to Your NeedPrioritize Lightweight
Japanese-Built Durability in a Serviceable Compact Design
Built to strict Japanese quality standards, this compact machine packs a high-performance motor into a 13.6 kg body. Robust against temperature swings and tough conditions—lightweight yet reliable enough to keep crews drilling with minimal downtime.
A proprietary control design that delivers both precision and light weight. The Automatic Feeding System reads drilling load in real time, physically preventing operator over-feeding and eliminating abnormal tool wear. Holds steady drilling speed and extends consumable life(*1)—even on sites with limited space or a high volume of small-diameter holes.
Prioritize Automation
Advanced Digital Control for Automation and On-Site Safety
Hilti Cut Assist digitally controls drilling pressure and water flow throughout the cut. Once set, the hole is drilled fully automatically. This drives labor savings and productivity gains on large-scale jobs with hundreds of holes.
Active Torque Control (ATC) instantly detects jamming of the core bit, and electronically stops sudden kickback that can cause workplace injuries. ATC meets strict safety standards for large-scale projects while reducing the risk of human error.
Prioritize Value
Professional Coring Performance at a Reasonable Price
Rig-based drills start in the $200s, while handheld models start in the $100s, offering affordable options across the lineup(*2). The drill delivers a strong ROI both as a backup for primary machine downtime and for rapid deployment at expanding jobsites.
A reliable mechanical gearbox and a rigid extruded-aluminum stand reflect a specialist manufacturer's focus on core drilling fundamentals. It reliably delivers precise drilling performance even at demanding jobsites, at a competitive cost.
